Barry
Crocker, awarded an "Order of Australia" in 1987 for services
to the Australian Entertainment Industry and to charity, is correctly
regarded as one of the "Greats" in the Australian Entertainment
Industry. This recognition from the public and his peers in richly deserved,
respect earned through a career spanning several decades. His immense
talents as a fine singer, comic impressionist and dramatic actor shine
through in all of his performances captivating audiences, not only in
Australia, but the UK and America as well.
Barry's career includes a comprehensive recording history, numerous
television appearances in Australia, the UK and America, National and
Intentional Concert Performances, Variety Cabaret, Lead roles in live
theatre productions and the star lead in two classic Australian movies
which became cult icons; "The adventures of Barry McKenzie"
and "Barry Mackenzie holds his Own". It is almost impossible
to fully document all of Barry's career achievements, but the condensed
history is truly impressive, accentuation his superb talents. What it
